Yeah, but not a full picture.

Update: The X is being shipped from Fagifornia and won't be here until Monday.

my 08 f150 has a low rumble tone. no snapping even at higher rpms.

Well, it's done. I guess "smoother" and "quieter" would be the only way to describe the difference the H and X. The heavy hitting pulses are now gone and the overall volume is lower. The volume is also considerably quieter in the higher RPM's, but at lower RPM's it is relatively the same as the H.

"Aggressive" has always been my main goal, but I think that the X goes against that. Since I've already paid for the X and the labor to have it installed, I'm going to keep it.

I am now convinced that it is impossible for a F150 to sound as good as a Mustang.

On the bright side, low end torque feels slightly improved. It might be due to the fact that I had the X moved up a bit and the old H wasn't all that great.

The guy I had put it all together was kind enough to paint some............ white stuff on my pipes.

Sounds bad a$$. I like it! Looks like they smeared JB weld or something all around the weld spots though on that install. What's up with that? Oh, and I listened to the h pipe video as well as the new video. I like how the x dosen't have all those pops and crackles. The x sounds better in my opinion!

It's some kind of high temp paint to help keep corrosion off the welds. I've been having a lot of trouble with leaks, so this should help. I'm going to paint the entire exhaust (not the tips) soon with some BBQ paint.
