Curious as I can go 18" or 20" and either 3.5" or 4" tips. What, if anything, does length and size of tip have on sound? This is for true duals.

Thanks

In my experience a larger diameter longer tip provides a deeper smoother sound. I went from 2.5" tips and piping to 3.5" x 18" tips and the sound was noticeably deeper and seemed to echo off things more. I'm not sure you'd notice a sound difference between the ones you are looking at though.

I went from 4x12 rolled tips, to 3.5x18 slash cut. The 4x12 were louder, but thr 18s were smoother.

Tips give a slight better echo effect in every scenario. 3.5"+ work best. 3" doesn't throw a sound too far. Length doesn't make up too much of a noticeable difference, but longer ones sound slightly deeper than shorter ones.
