Which Exhaust This Time?

i am trading in an '05 4.6 f150 supercab stx. i had installed a true dual system after the cats. ran 2 pipes through 2 flowmasters to 2 stainless tips straight out the back.

i am picking up a 2010 supercab 4x4 5.4 next week. i was pleased with the sound generated by my old system. i am not sure if the old setup will work well with the new truck. i am seeking a similar sound that my old truck has, but a little deeper. if i can increase performance, speed, hp, or fuel mileage, i would like to do so.

what do you guys suggest and why? i am not limiting myself to flowmaster, but i will not compromise the stainless tips as i spend alot of time near the coast. what are your thoughts regarding swapping cats, mufflers, etc? thanks.

Replicate the same system, '09+ sound better than any '97 - '08 model. I suggest switching to Dynomax Bullets or Magnaflow Magnapacks for mufflers though. Much cleaner sounding, deeper, and a pinch louder.

^ I agree, but I suggest short oval mufflers from Borla or Magnaflow. 11" -14"
These will have a more "tuned" and more refined sound IMO.
