What exhaust set up do I want (clueless)
Neirti: Yeah man sounds good
4.6 Puisher: Not sure yet, haven't actually bought the pipes yet. Going to just take it to a local shop and see what they can do.

Well if you go with aluminized (nothing wrong with that) be sure to paint them as soon as possible. I've waited a pretty long time to paint mine, and rust is already forming on certain points.
I never plan to paint my pipes, mine look just fine and have the same surface as aluminized, and I deal with road salt. Just wash your exhaust by hand every couple months
The left over car wash soap in my washing buckets just with the grit guards removed. I wash the frame and suspension parts, finish with the exhaust, then axle. After cleaning the pipes if I feel like it i'll polish them with my stainless cleaner, but only twice a year I bother to.
This is after 2yr/winters, granted the mufflers are semi-new aluminized, and aluminized extensions after them.

X pipe came in earlier today when I was doing community service! Unfortunetly by the time I got done, No one wanted to start work on the truck. So I am waking up and getting to a shop early tomorrow to see if they will get everything on for me. If all goes well I'll put up a new thread with pictures and videos of my new exhaust
Woke up early today to go to meineke(sp?) and get my exhaust put on today. They wanted 375-400 for the install. Sounds high as hell to me so had to walk out. It was a very sad experience to get there and not have them put on.
