Idk i just want to know how happy he is with it more than anything... im really in a pickel here I think you chimed in on my last post about 10 series... you told me you really liked yours and so i have really givin this some thought and the exaust is falling apart like my welds finally broke in a few spots so gota do something! I went and talked to my local exaust place and told him the crap I have with the current exaust and he basicly told me here in ohio where i live that i cant expect to get more than 2 3 and if you get 4 years you should praise jesus if it is your daily driver and that kinda makes me think well if it sounds good cheaper would be better so i initially thought i would go with your setup and then after talking to him I got to thinking that if i kept the Y pipe all 8 would be going through one pipe instead of 4 cyl per pipe which im pretty sure would make the Y pipe a "dryer" exaust hence making the longevity of my exaust a little longer i would hope and cheaper by one exaust so thats why I was asking about the SI/DO 10 series

Nerti is the guy with the new Flowmaster Super 10 SI/DO. His video is on Youtube. Since he is an active member on here I will not post his video, but for the inpatient, you can go look it up on Youtube with "F150 Flowmaster Super 10"

Y pipe or duals, doesn't matter. You will have moisture in your exhaust regardless, and running a si/do system will not make the act of corrosion any slower. Get the new 10 series, it is stainless.

He has a 2008 FX2... only 2 cats. You both will sound the same. It will sound just the same and just as audible.

That will sound pretty good. Not much of a chambered guy on the modulars, but I will admit it sounds pretty good

just thought I would say that I ended up getting this exaust and love it! as long as you keep the stock cats im pretty sure its the laudest you will ever be able to get without the redic backpressure sound.... it has some drone but only at the top of 2rd gear and it no worse that when I had the 40 series on there..THANKS GUYS

Glad you like it. A lot of people hate the 10 series because if you don't dump it, it will be extremely raspy. I love my Long tubes and true duel no cats set up. Its the loudest F150 around.

I dont have any raspyness at all? it has a deep grumble to it at idle way better than my 40 series and at any speed sounds pretty much the same as my 40 series maybe a little lauder but even so for the price compared to the 40 series i would most deff do it again
