40 Series

I put 40 Series flowmasters on my 04' F-150 4x4! I made it a true dual exhaust with these Mufflers and dumped them in front of the rear axle Left the cats on and the truck sounds like a stock Exhaust! What can I do to chabge this? or If i run straight pipes will there be enough back pressure that i wont hurt my engine if i do this? Any Suggestiuons? Please help!!!!

If you have 4 cats on ur truck, cut out the rear 2 and you should be happy. Also dumping in front of the rear axle is a waste. Put it out the side before the rear tire for the loudest sound.

Take them stupid dumps off, add 3.5" tips out the side in front of the rear axle, remove the rear cats, and quit assuming that your engine "requires" back pressure!

... Then you will be a happy man!
