Magnaflow 13256 3 Chamber

I've got an 01 Screw with a 4.6 and no cats. The stock muffler sounds HIDEOUS with no cats, and performs like ****.

Just wondering if this 3 chamber would sound any better, it's a so called "turbo" muffler.

I am planning on exiting it out the side in front of the passenger rear tire. Like everybody does with these trucks.

2.5" I don't think I want 3" with my little 4.6. Just wondering how this would sound, I do not want it overly loud, but I want it to sound good. Would this 3 chamber sound good? If not what does everyone recommend? I do NOT want it to loud.

Its decent, but a stupid production muffler, dont know why Magnaflow made them. Slap a straight through 14" oval in and call it a day. Enjoy the deep clear noise.

Would an 18" be quieter? What is a Magnapack?

18" will be quieter, and a magnapack is 14" round body magnaflow.

I just put one on my 97 4.6 I did the 18". It's perfect for me, not loud at all but noticeable at startup and acceleration. No drone what so ever. However, I do have all 4 stock cats. I gotta find some time to get a vid up.
