Ive seen it for cars at the track who want to go from a exhaust the gose through a muffler to bypass the muffler and just go stright pipe. The reason is i had flowmaster 40s on my truck and i hated them so much i took the off. i want quite while driving around but i also want the beefy sound of a exhuast system

yea on electric cutouts they have a switch right before the muffler so its doesnt all pass through the muffler, so itll be louder

i dont like the way the exhaust sounds with cutouts

search some youtube videos, there is a member on here with a 5.4 FX2 with cutouts.

When he said "exhaust switch" I assumed changing a quiet muffler for a louder one.

no haha. sorry not really an exhaust expert in anyway. I just love the stock quiet but sometimes, for offroad or just to make a scene i would like it loud but i dont want straight piped, i wanted another muffler on the cutout but i guess this isnt posssible.
