High flow cats?

Ok guys. I finally got my 91 f150 5.0 4x4 up and running after a long battle. After 2 years she finally fired What I need now is an exhaust. I have hooker LT headers on there now. What I am looking for are high flow cats. I found some on performancepeddler, part # 94006 or something like that. Will these work for my truck? Anyone with a 91 have experience with these? I was looking at running 2, 1 on each side since I have the long tubes and trying to keep it a true dual. Please give me some input. The sooner the better so I can get a system put on there. Thanks for all the advice in advance.

As long as you have 2.5" piping they will fit, they are universal. I'd go with the 94106s they are the smaller than the 94006s. Also if you order from performance peddler use discount code "clubgp"

I have the 94106's on my '05, no problems, large increase in sound volume.

I may be thinking about this wrong, but wouldn't bigger be better (larger cross section = lower pressure / greater flow)?

He means length. Shorter length = less time for the sound to be affected.

The difference between 94006 and 94106 is one is 3" longer than the others. Both are nearly the same in volume, 006 will be a little tiny more de-volumed. Neither of these cats have sound resonating wools inside like OEM, or the polished Magnaflow cats.

Thanks guys I appreciate the input. I looked at the 94106s, the application doesn't fit my 91 ford but I have 2 1/2" pipes so it shouldn't matter right?....Still should work? Just let me know cause I am looking to buy them ASAP.

They'll fit if you make them. Only the surrounding space will determine. The cats with part #s that end in 6 are 2.5" dia.

Nice screen name.
