Exhaust Dripping

I noticed this last night and today after I messed with my fuel filter. This is just after start up. Is it anything to worry about? It's no longer there whenever I finish driving somewhere (I checked when I got out of truck at school).

Nothing to worry about. Mine does the same during a cold start. Once everything heats up, water from the cumbustion process will stay in gas form (water vapor) and flow out the tailpipe. Just make sure its water and not gas from fiddling with the gas filter.

Looks like condensation if it's coming from the muffler.

Thanks guys. I'm convinced. That's what I had thought but I just wanted to make sure. I did smell it to make sure it wasn't gas; didn't have a smell to it.

It's just condensation. This is what rusts out exhaust systems, over time and with lots of short runs.

Here in Oregon, where we have a lot of rain and cold nights, there is a great deal of water coming from the tail pipes in the morning. During the summer months when the humidity is low this does not take place. Stainless steel exhaust systems are a must for any longevity. It's just a fact of life...

Normal condensation. Some say that a motor that drips water out the tail pipe is a good motor!

Well if thats the case, my truck has a hell of a bladder . I came home once just for a couple things and let the truck idle in park for a minute, when I came out there were dips falling from the pipes 1 second apart and small pools on the pavement .
