so saturday night my exhaust broke off, the pipe just infront of the muffler broke off and crashed to the ground. so i replaced with a flowmaster original 40 series single in single out and all new stainless steel piping with a dual side exit infront of the passenger side rear wheel. it sounds amazing and actually screams like a banshee at WOT. so far im loving it , the truck feels much much more responsive and it puts a smile on my face when people hear me coming.

on another note, when the exhaust fell, it broke one of my leafs in my leafs pack, i think i remember reading people have put the f250 leafs in their trucks, i have a 99 f150 xl, 4.2l. can this be done? i would probably be installing drop shackles at the same time as the leaf packs.

 

f250 leafs....why if your gonna drop it? and idk that f250 leafs will fit

how the heck did it break a leaf just from the exhaust falling on it?

 

It does sound impossible, but running down the road and the exhaust falling and bending back and beating the leak I can see how it would be possible.

 

f-250 leafs would lift it if they fit

 

thats what im thinkin...so IDK why he wants to put those leafs and drop shackles on.
