Have installed the intake rechecked clamps and fittings, but still have an intermitent squeal sound. Any ideas from anyone would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

A video would help with a diagnosis.

Can try and get a sound bite, but instead of saying a squeal my son says it sounds more like a very quiet air horn sound. Going to loosen everything up tommorrow and retighten all clamps and hoses. But on another note performance is up and dont have exact numbers yet but fuel mileage greatly has improved!!!

Your son's description reminds me of the iac "foghorn" sound. The photo from Jegs does not show the nipple on the tube in front of the throttle body where the iac tube should be connected, it may be a generic photo I guess.

Does your truck have a plastic box/baffle in the iac tract?

It did have one little rectangle black box that plugged into the factory intake, did not reinstall with this intake though. Do I need, or is it just a baffle for noise?

You will need the baffle if you don't want to hear the moose under the hood.

I also noticed this "squeal" after installing mine. Its more of a quiet whistle when you are on light throttle. Imagine the plate opening on the throttle body ever so slightly under light throttle...with the increased airflow it's whistling. Nothing to worry about. Just pretend it's a turbo
