Will these hi-flow cats fit my 05' Fx4 5.4L

http://www.performancepeddler.com/de...CT_ID=MAG94106

Like I was told before the direct fit Hi-flows are expensive and these universals are much cheaper. But will they be compatible with my 05'? The shops I have talked to want to know the dimensions and the size of these and what not, but I cant find the exact specs on the one at performancepeddler.com.

Anyone have some more detailed info?

Am I better off spending money on a new muffler and swapping out the Magnaflow one I have on now to get better sound or should I do the hi-flow cats? I want my truck louder, the magnaflow muffler I have now is decent when I cold start it but after that its pretty quiet, unless I really wrap up the RPMs!

If you truck has 2 cats per side I would suggest cutting out the rear cats and welding in pipe in their place.

If it has 1 per side, I suggest getting the 94106s.

The Magnaflow 94106 cats are much smaller than OEMs but they will guaranteed work as long as the rear O2 is mounted after the cats.

Specs are, 9" long body, 12" outlet to outlet, 6" width, 4" thickness, 49 state approved, 6.2L / 6200 GVWR rated. Plenty of people here have used then and they will successfully work on any F150.

I have a 2004 F150 with 2 cats per side and 3" pipe to a SI/DO Flowmaster 40 series. Which Hi -flow Cat will work on this truck?
My cats are throwing codes and I need to replace anyway.

use what the previous members just stated in this thread, magnaflow high flows, #94106 or little quieter #94306. they are universal but work wonders
