High Flow cats?

HI, I have a an 06 f150 with a 5.4, intake mod, k&n drop in, Edge Evo, and SI/Do catback. I would like some more power and sound, not sure if LT's are in the budget, so my question is would high flow cats alone give me much increase in either power or sound? thanks.

I am also planning on doing the hi-flow cats soon. I have been told they will increase the sound by about 40%. Power im not so sure but I have done some research and it looks like you will gain some power as well, how much? Im not sure.

What did you pay for your intake mod/K&N set up and what has it done for your overall performance, sound, mpg etc?

Kid Rock?

Yes, hi-flow cats will give you more power and a much more aggressive sound. Check my vids in my sig to get a good comparison.

so do you HAVE to get custom tuned to run lt headers? I have an edge evo now, and may upgrade to a gryphon later, but I'd like to redo my exhaust first without having to worry about it for awhile.

No... you dont but highly reccomend it. im still running canned tunes with my LT's (1 year later) but i am patiently waiting to get customed tuned! i would at least have a programmer (like you have). if you dont that wouldnt be good.

i still have a few more mods before the custom tunes begin.

Will the check engine light come on if you replace the cats? Also if you have 4 cats do you take out all 4 and replace with the 2 hi-flows or do you just remove 2 and replace them with the hi-flow leaving 2 stockers?
