I am living in Texas right now and was told they have pretty strict emissions testing here. All my stuff is registered to Ohio and plated in Ohio but by the off chance I need to sale it or change my state of residency it may be wise not to take off my Cats. Are there any other changes or improvements I could do to make it louder? I know headers can help, but are pretty expensive.

Any other suggestions?

Do you know if the F150 OEM cats have 02 sensors? The shop said if they dont have 02 sensors then the Hi-flows are perfectly fine!

I called Magnaflow and they said the direct fit high flows part# 93666 and 93667 (for passenger side) would fit my truck. He didn't mention these universal ones. But I cant find these part numbers on performance peddler!

I measured my muffler and it turns out its an 18" oval magnaflow. Not sure the part# its at my house with my wife (I am living in a different state at the moment). But with the muffler being so big should I even spend the time/money on the hi-flow cats or just swap out the muffler? Unless the hi-flows will make the 18" oval sound awesome I almost just want to switch.

IMO... The 18" will sound better with hi flows compared to the 14" with stock cats. It will probably have a deeper growl to it.

Thanks avfrog, do you think the sound will be noticeably louder and better? If so I think imma do it! Do you know if the 05's have 2 or 4 cats?

^ I think so, but a few more opinions wouldn't hurt. I believe they went to the 2 cat set-up half way into 05 production. So you will just have to look.

Think about it this way... If it is still not loud enough, then go with the 14" muffler and it will sound amazing!
