Ya the guy at summit racing kind of pushed that magnaflow. I wanted these Borla's but they were out of stock for like a week or so and I was leaving so I had to finish the project with my brother inlaw and his friend that weekend. Sorta jumped the gun, but I think hi-flows may be a good option. What do you think the difference will be with hi-flows?

Are they easy to install or should I have a shop do it?

You da man Ricky Bobby - Shake N' Bake!

What type of impact will this have you think? From a deep melow rumble to a slighty louder deep rumble or what?

Also what do you think installation will cost for something like this?

Thanks again for all the help!! Much appreciated

What do you think about just getting a new muffler and switching out the magnaflow I have on there now?

Do you think I could sell the one I have on now? or just go with the hi-flow cat?

thats up to you, you could sell the muffler but in the end IMO I think the muffler you have now would sound better with hi-flows than the other muffler

I'm having the same issue as Weber, I want more sound. I had 3" single stainless exhaust put on and they sold me a huge magnaflow type muffler. It's like 22 inches long so the truck is fairly quiet. Should I trash the muffler or do high flow cats?

Both, even with hi-flow cats, that 22" muffler is still going to be really quiet.

Hi-flows will increase the sound about 35% - 40% easily.

Yes, it does sound good. Thanks.

The muffler in the link he posted ( 14376 ) is a polished 11" body? Where are you getting the 22" body from? I have not read that in this post?

Forgot to mention, Weber, If you really do have the 11" Oval body, give it a couple thousand miles. It will break in some more and sound better. Listen to my video, I have true dualed 11s.
