I am looking at modify my stock intake and was wondering if these mod using ABS tubing. Do they really make a difference in mileage and performance or do they just increase sound? Just looking for some opinions. Thanks

Doubt there is any sound difference. Plastic will keep cooler heat by only a couple degrees where as a metal tube would collect engine bay heat and stay warm. Only reall difference between material.

By removing the fender nozzle and replacing with straight pipe it helps out in the upper rpms.

Yep. The DWV intake mod. has been dynoed to increase power at the rear wheels.

Open element intakes increase the underhood growl slightly...

Intakes don't do much for MPG increases...
