also, ss keeps heat inside = better scavenging, hence increasing velocity pressure

? i thats the case ill stick with 3 or go bigger

2-true duals IN 3" will kill any bottom end you have my friend...

i would leave off the cats for now..just keep the stock ones and see how you like it..there are pretty cheap X pipes on ebay for about 25 bucks...unless money is no factor,,if your gonna do it..DO IT RIGHT!

and those tips are 10" long and 3.5" around..thought you were gettin 7" long and 3" around?

ive never had headers put on...but i bet its pretty expensive..and labor will be pretty high since the guy will have to alot of fabbing..the shop i went to charged 90 bucks to change out my cats.

called a shop in tampa, Madhatter, and he said the same thing about skippin the cats. they give a military discount, said the exhaust would be about 450 minues military discount for everything but the headers, headers would be a 2 to 3 hour job at 100 bucks an hour minus military discount.


if my truck has 3 inch, why would it hurt to keep 3 inch. are you suggesting 2.25 or 2.5 ?

going from 3" siso to 3" dual will KILL your tq-mine is 2.25" and the 3" siso isn't even in the same game as far as tq goes
