Borla

im wondering how much quieter my truck would be if i put borla stingers on it. i love the sound they give. my current exhaust is true dual flowmaster 10 series, H pipe and deleted rear cats and i love how that sounds as well. my trucks very very loud with my current setup. im just wondering in case i switch some time if it would be quieter and how much.

Stinger kits use the S-type muffler. The loudest muffler Borla makes is the Xr-1. I would put those on for sure.

Go for the borla's. They are one of the best sounding mufflers IMO.

Probably about the same volume as it does now, with a louder WOT.

My next exhuast is hand down with Borla mufflers. How loud will Lt's be with maggie hi flows (prolly 94306 when I do that system) with 2 S-type mufflers?

30% quieter than that Cobra above. My best guess of coarse, considering the length of truck exhausts, and the slightly more resonated 306 cats.

I'm really trying to do well in school so I can get a good job. I have been trying to plan out my truck a bit. I know technology changes, but I am really thinking I want to make some serious power with this truck for fun. Then have that exhuast set-up. Thing would be a sleeper

No. The XR1 is voice of God loud. The S type contains some packing which makes it deeper. The XR1 is offered in the same size cases, just all ceramic, no packing. Its loud like the 10 series Flowmaster, just way louder, close to the Dynomax Bullet but the Bullet has a couple DBs of volume over it ( 12" version )
