Oh ok. Usually when someone wants to change muffler(s) its due to their current one is too quiet, cause Fords aren't all too loud.

You could also cut your mufflers out yourself and ride to the shop with your tailpipes ductaped a little and it will cut the cost of cutting them out a bit, all they would need to do is fabricate.

yea i hear ya thats true most do want louder but i definitely took care of that problem lol i wouldnt hesitate to say mines just as loud as any dodge, but id say bc of the 10 series flows mainly. i was shocked at the volume difference when i cut the cats. it hurts my ears to hear it rev from behind the truck its pretty insane.

but thats a good idea about the duct tape. but come to think of it, he doesnt charge 100 for installation. when i said that i was remembering when i had a 50 seies changed to a 40 series and he charged 100 for the new muffler and installation. so he prolly charges around 25. my bad yall

Yeah definitely worth trying, running straights to the shop wont hurt much, just dont get on it through town. I plan to do that when I change mine.

intead of duct taping straight pipe in there i could just tape the muffers back on so its not so loud on the way to the shop plus no cost for the straight piping and its just as easy to remove once at the shop
