Last minute check on my purchase.

Alright, so i just went to Exhaust Pro's to order my muffler, planning to get a magnapack, but the guy told me he has done quite a few of both magnapacks and oval body magnaflows and told me the ovals sounded much better so he scheduled me to get a 14" oval magnaflow and a tip next tuesday. Is this going to be to quiet? Should i call and tell him that i want the magnapack instead?

I don't want an insanely loud exhaust, but I don't want it almost as quiet as the stock muffler.

i had stock exhaust with a magnaflow 14" oval body before i did all my exhuast work, and from your other thread, it is gonna be too quiet for ya. can only hear it when you stomp it. id go back to the magnapack.

Alright, thanks for the input man, i was kind of thinking the same thing, I'll have to give them a call. I am kind of thinking about the bullet so maybe i'll just order that and a tip online and take it in for them to put on. What's your input on the 12" and the 18"? Think the 18" would sound just as good, just maybe a hair quieter?

either bullet should be fine. im not that familiar with bullets so someone else will have to chime in. these trucks have real quiet exhaust with all 4 factory cats on them.

Xtreme my 18" oval maggys are a little quite, at least for me.Nice tone though. So I'm assuming the 14" would also be quite but a little louder.

Hey blue you got any clips of your exhaust. I'm wanting to run the same exact setup.

With your 4 stock cats, you wont be impressed by the 14" oval. The oval cases are deep sounding, not really any aggression like in the round bodies. Even my 11" ovals aren't too aggressive, just nice and loud in a deep tone.

Alright, here is what I'm thinking:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-15038
http://www.summitracing.com/parts.aspx?sku=WLK-24238
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-41973/?rtype=10
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-35113/

Any changes i need to make? Should i throw in another small length of pipe to fill in the extra space where the stock muffler was or just have the shop add that in when i take it to get it installed?
