borla's site. they got 2 different sections 1 says xr-1 sportsman the other says xr-1 multi-core. the sportsman has the most size options the multi-core only has 4 or 5 options

Mount the muffler as far back as possible and it shouldn't be too bad

I dont have too much to add because everything is correct, but if you were to do true dual 14" round Magnaflows that would be the deepest toned yet real aggressive of those setups. That XR1 video has LTs, and hi-flow cats to a 3" single exhaust with a 16" XR1.

He never wanted to do true duals. He's going with single pipe

Just throwing the idea out there, would cost about $70 extra thats why I figured it cant hurt to throw out there, otherwise I think the XR1 idea can work.

well im not exactly doing si/so either. i wanted to run a y after the muffler to get the duals. thats why i was wondering if 3" the whole way would be too big.

i had true duals on my old 2000 f150 5.4 2.5" piping and flowmaster delta 40's and it was alright nothing to go crazy about. i guess a different muffler would have been better but thats too late now.
