Id get 18" x 4" tips. But damn, i was kinda hoping your were gonna go dual pipe side exit. 45 is a better choice though.

i dont know to much about dumped exhaust so if you can answer these questions
please.

almost all the sound will be directed towards the right correct?
also how is the sound overall? like from the left side, back, ect. since the tips
would be pointing out to the right.
what sound difference would there be?

check it out. heres my 3" single bullet side exit before the rear tire. same tip, just different location. Awesome sound, but too much drone in the cab.

haha its a different sound. adding that extra pipe over the axle deepens it up a lot. And warm engine vs cold engine. second video was also RIGHT after installed, so the third video is when the bullet was nearly fully broken in.

If your set on dumping it, dump it over the axle, each pipe at an angle facing towards each side of the truck. (not much though) and put 4" tips on it. You will get the dumped sound, but with the sound being directed out and back vs down at the street in the middle of the truck

 

I got to go with mig on this one. If you want a little something different, go with a dual side exit in front of the rear tires with 3.5" tips. And then, maybe try an H pipe, but most people will say that they prefer X with bullets... this is coming from mustang people though...

 

if i were to exit on both sides before the tire id have to get a different gas tank
correct? i think i remember readiing about this somewhere. i think it would be
an awesome set up. maybe if i get all of it figured out i might do it ha!

Exiting before the left rear tire will not happen due to the fuel tank.

 

Ya i would never hassel and change around the gas tank. I was only talking about dual side exit on the ride side. But it sounds like ur pretty set on dumping it. Do what FX4life did. That will look and sound good.

 

yea i wouldnt bother with moving the fuel tank either..unless your shifty
