hey man i was thinking about ordering this intake tonight for 139$ online. i was wondering if the filter on this was oiled cause i don't necessarily want an oiled filter (heard they're a hassle). i just want this to complement my headers and exhaust. every other intake is crazy expensive but if this has the oiled filter, no need to get the intake.

Shouldn't have ever even ordered! DWV mod & an Amsoil filter is all you need

 

I'm gonna jump in on this thread too! I Just put a spectre intake on my 4.6 and love it! I don't have my most current picture, but I actually used a dremel tool and made some modifications to the engine cover so I could still have it on even with the CAI! I just like the clean look it keeps. I'll get an updated picture up here soon, but either way, Happy with the power gains. Definitely noticeable!
