edge and intake question

First off merry Christmas to everyone , i made this intake for my truck but it doesnt seem to be working like it should here is the picture

i think it looks pretty good for my first try what do yall think??

Now back on the subject i just purchased a spectre cold air intake for my 03 5.4 and i know i need to disconnect the negitive battery terminal, question is do i need to take the edge back to stock level 0 before i disconnect the battery??? I read alot of reviews and they were all good on this spectre so i decided to go ahead and purchase it, hope it works out good. Does anyone else know anything about this brand?

No. The PCM is programmed with whatever the Edge has tuned it to and it cannot be erased by a battery disconnection. Especially when it is only the negative.

when you disconnect the negative battery cable, you are resetting the learning curve of the ecm, make sure you do it...

since I have no experience with the edge, I do not know if the edge will be harmed when you do this...
