Exhaust ideas?

Just came over from FordTruckWorld...place turned into a ghost town, lol.

Anyway....

Current exhaust: shorty headers, pre-cats, magnaflow highflows, true duals exited to 4x22" tips at 45's. System is all 2.5" all the way

I just don't feel like theres enough back pressure, and low end tq, but I like it loud, and it could be deeper. Would 2.25" and an x-pipe be in answer, or any ideas?

add a couple mufflers

and an H-pipe...

an H-pipe will help your low end power while and X-pipe will help in the higher rpms and since you want more power in the lower rpms go for the H-pipe

2.25" piping would help. But I too would add mufflers, but I would suggest X pipe for better low end energy.

Ah, mufflers just aint loud enough. But I'm thinking of eliminating the pre cats, going with smaller piping and dynomax bullets

whatcha got a 4.6 or a 5.4???

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt6qpxghCwQ

i ran 2 high flows deleted the 4 and went with 2, H pipe, and no mufflers...

as far as your question..get longtube headers, X pipe, and run magnaflow or borla mufflers....i guess you can go with bullets

At the very least go with some Bullets, or Magnapacks, or even SLP's. There's some videos of mine in my sig, but mine still has the 2 stock cats. Hi-flows are in the future.
