Your not going to kill your existing exhaust set up! I Imagine it will be louder though!

If you originally went from the stock manifolds back, part of it will have to be cut out when installing the longtubes.
Here's a link to what they look like.

there fixed the link for ya, long tubes broaden the power curve while shorties provide a few gains, several people are running shorties and are happy with the gains most of them have forced induction though...

might as well go with the long tubes or if you're worried about your existing exhaust then get some equal length shorties

I was looking at Stainless Works complete kit for the 09+ 5.4. They have stuff for a number of Ford vehicles. Looks like an awesome set for the 09+, just gonna jet-hot coat it and install it. It has options to use existing cat back systems, and their own "true duals" system. It is pricey tho, at roughly $2500 for the full kit, heads to tailpipes. Here is a link to their ford catalog: http://www.stainlessworks.net/cart/i...th=382_439_534 .
Looked to me like the best bang for my truck if Whipple ever releases a SC kit for our trucks. Now to figure out how to activate the rear locker in 2wd mode..........

The only thing headers can possibly ruin is OEM cats, thats why its best to go with hi-flow cats

I installed pacesetter longtubes, what a nightmare! there was no room to get at the lower bolts, I had to undo the motor mounts and lift the engine as high as possible...considered pulling the engine to make it easier!
Now that they are installed...I love em! They are loud,(young people like it, the older ones hate it) I removed the cat's and rear o2 sensors.
The only issue I had was the pass side contacts the floor boards so when the engine is under load it twisted away from the floor but when you let off the gas or back up it would knock on the floor. I just got a pipe and pounded up the floorboard enough to keep from contacting. All in all, it was expensive but in my mind worth it.

With you on that one bro. PITA to install but love em after! Throw some high flows to lower that db alittle and will still be loud when you hit it.
