I just bought an edge evo on e-bay and included in the auction is a Helix Powertower TBS.

Is it a waist of my time to install the tbs?

I've alwasy thought they were a joke but since I'm getting it anyway....just wondering it its worth my efort?

pretty much a waste of time, they do nothing on a dry manifold engine.

 

Some gains on a carbed motor but the only other possible use for it is to tap it for some NOS jets.

p.s. forgot..you can use it as a paperweight as well

yup under carbs only. or on TBI's or if you reallly want it to work for your truck ud have to make an intake manifold spacer lol but thatd be a PITA!

you can always send it this way i hear it makes the whisle pretty cool.

my buddy swears they work but i dont belive it ill have his dad make me one or somthing.

I kinda figured it would be a waist of time. Unless your making the actual runner its self longer their would be no benifits if I'm corect.
I thought I might get a few opinions.

I'll probably put it back on ebay and see what I can get for it.
