Magnaflow and Borla Volume...

I'm redoing my exhaust. Currently, I have 2 high flow cats (which I'm keeping) and an 18" Magnaflow SIDO dumped. I am doing true duals at 2.25" with and X-Pipe and 4x18 tips. I just can't decide between Magnaflow 14's or 11's and Borla Pro XS (14"). I have read mixed reviews on here saying Borla's are louder than Magnaflows, and some saying the opposite. I drive on the interstated alot (thanks to school) so I'm leaning more toward a 14" case. Money is not an issue. So, with that stated how is the volume of a 14" Maggie going to compare to a 14" Borla?

Thanks guys....

The Pro XS is equivalent to a half way broken in 14" Magnaflow. The Borla XR1 would be the loudest to go with ( 12", 16", and 18" options ). The 11" bodies do sound really good. Matter of fact I just heard my truck tonight, it was driven and I heard how rich, clear, and deep it sounded and that was only moving across a parking lot.

I would try the 14" round bodies ( 4x14 ) They would be the loudest Magnaflows.

Yep, round bodies are much louder than case mufflers, but the 11 isn't much far behind. Judging by video to video, 4point6punisher is a decent amount louder than mine, though his exhaust is about 3' shorter than mine since i have the ext cab 6'5 bed, and the round bodies have more aggression to them.

With the 11" bodies and my 2000 extended cab, how would the drone be with tips straight out the back and the mufflers mounted under the bed?

With the mufflers mounted as far back as they will go that's the lowest you can get drone. I've got a semi-similar setup (high flows, x crossover, 2 bullets, tips out back) and the drone is only bad between 1800 and 2000 rpms. I just turn the radio up a little.
