No, just depends what kind of dual exhaust, true duals? or a dual outlet muffler with tips?

so.... your saying what, are you running 1 muffler with dual tailpipes? or converting to true duals?

If you are unsure of the difference well true duals deletes the Y pipe and pipes with either an H pipe, or X pipe are fitted and two intermediate pipes are ran back, with two mufflers instead of one.

You can get the same sound gain with a single muffler and hold better low end since its not a true dual.

i thought the I-6's only have one manifold, so theres no way you can possibly make them a "true dual"

Good point, i'm used to dealing with V style engines on the forums I discuss exhausts on.

A simple Single In Dual Out muffler will do the job here. I would suggest a Flowmaster 2 chamber in particular.
