Flo-Pro is a pretty good kit, becoming more popular, they use good stainless steel and direct flow mufflers.

IMO, they have the best sounding exhaust for the 4.2L as well.

My personal experience with different mufflers

when I first put it on I thought what did I do. No low end torque and mid range to wide open at first was like or simular to the 50 series suv flow master. Now I have about 100 miles with it on and everytime I drove it the first 100 miles it seemed to get better and better. No chip yet and the performance is definetly better than stock. Just filled up we will see the mileage. I also made the mistake of putting 3" inlet pipe and 3" tail pipe to a magna flo 2.5 in and 2.5 out for what I was told would put back presure on the motor. Thats what it needed to get my performance back wrong. now it is all 3". I was getting 12.5 mpg with the magnaflow & 15 mpg with the 50 suv. The last tank of gas 1/4 with the magnaflow and 1/4 with the new flo pro 14.5 mpg and I was pretty heavey on the pedal because the performance was not there. So I was like wtf. If it gets better with a tunner I will probably just guessing, I will get 17mpg. I also have 22' rims with a 285 45 22 which are 2" taller than stock. I did calibrate the stock computer for the aftermarket tires. Keep in mind what I was after was better gas mileage and good towing response not just wide open throtle I was also told by the new dealer that the muffler they put on gives back presure by design. We shall see in about a week. All I can say is just be careful of taking expert advice as my post tells just my story 600.00 dollars after words. What an education. This is not my first rodeo either. Done about 6 vehicles before. This time what a night mare

Just a little update on the exhaust. no tune yet little sluggish on take off, but not always and when I get into the power band of the k&n fipk kit the motor continues to pull really hard until it reaches max rpm 1st gear pulls to 4800 and 2nd to 5000. At that point it is time to shut it down I am @ about 70 or a little faster. Nice tone from the muffleralso. Just one other thing when the first shop did the work he left a little too much of the original tubing about 4 to 6 inches from the Y vonnector. The new shop said that was incorrect all that I have to go on is the performance on the truck and it is definetly better now. I will inform on the mpg just a couple of more days until I will fill up

update

Well finally had an oppertunity to run the freeway as well as surface streets this fill up and it seems like it is settled in a little better 15.6 mpg this go round. It was at 12.5mph just a couple of weeks ago.
