Where to Find..

i recently moved to the lakeland area and i want to get my exhaust redone. i was thinking of going from the SI/DO to true duals with Flowmaster 40's but i want to get BIG tips like 5" or 6" coming from infront of the tires. where is best to do this or where can these tips be purchased?

going from a si/do flowmaster to true dual flows, you might be wasting your money if you are looking for a better sound or a louder exhaust. friend of mine did just this and it sounds a little deeper, but imo it is not worth the $300+. look into another muffler such as magnaflow or a dynomax bullet if you plan on going true duals and are looking for a good tune. These mufflers will perform better as well due to their straight through design and will sound 10x better imo. And dont forgett the x-pipe either, these trucks need them! as far as the 5-6" tip goes, you may want to call it quits at 4". anything bigger wont look right. you may as well runs stacks but on a serious note if you are dead set on the diesel tips, many shops have to special order these and you will save some $ by gettin them off ebay or somethin. if i were you id start listening to a lot of guy's sound clips on here and youtube that way you can get an idea of what you want, its what i did.

true dual dynomax bullets. H or X pipe, 2.5" pipes, 4" tips comin out the rear each side 45 degrees. then if you want louder you can gut ur 4 cats, and replace with 2 high flow cats

but if ur stuck on the flowmaster sound, i would get 44's
hell, if u want a badass setup no one has, go with the flowmaster outlaw. im yet to hear it on an F150.

my 40's are much louder than my cousins maggies. so i am pretty much in love with the sound i am getting now. i figured if it sounds that good now it leaves me to wonder what it could sound like with true duals. as for the big tips i saw them on a truck on this site, BUD.. something or another its a real nice truck silver with black rims but im pretty sure he only has one big tip. i also know someonee who as this in my area. thanks

5" tips can look good on a lifted truck, but 6", especially before tire is pushing it, very tacky looking.
