yeah man you kinda beat me to the punch, only difference was im keeping my stock pre-cats and i got rid of the rear cats a long time ago so i think ours is going to sound very similar. yours sounds sick! hows the low end treatin ya? any loss? and you got a lot of drone in the cab? just gettin an idea of what to look forward to.

Haven't noticed any loss...but I was already driving with true duals and 2.5" pipes. The only drone I get is between 1800 and 2000 RPMs...with the worst being about 1850. Other than that it's pretty dang quiet inside the cab.

I've learned the Toyo's help kill drone, their nice hum from the front sounds like your driving a big mack

$79.90 - Dynomax Race Bullet Mufflers (x2)
$79.90 - Clamp-On Cherry Bomb SS Tips (x2) (Only ones I found without an ugly logo stamped on the end)
$160.00 - Installation by local shop
=============================================
Total: $535.65

And I'm extremely happy with it. It's exactly what I wanted. Pretty much a custom setup for the price of a cat-back kit.

did you buy the stuff then take it to them for them to put it all on? i want this so bad for my truck maby my bday gift from my parents in 2 days haha. or did they have all of it?

Yeah I bought it all separate from Summit (I live close enough to get it shipped in one day on regular UPS shipping rates). The shop was kind enough to install it for me. Most places will either have it all or can order it all before you take your truck in.

Nice job mblouir, your truck has really come along.

I spent about the same for my Magnaflow setup. I did all my parts shoppin at performancepeddler and took it to a local muffler shop to have them fab it up. I was charged for $200 for the install but its still holding up strong, and this guy has been doing this stuff for awhile, so I knew I was gettin my money worth. There's literally a muffler graveyard sitting out the side with atleast 1000 mufflers stacked up..

This is making me curious what my setup would sound like with a pair of high flows on it.. lol

Thanks JD.

Another quick update: I am in the process of cleaning up my laptop and came across some old truck pictures and videos. One of them is a drive-off with the old 40 series Flowmaster setup. At the same location as one of my new vids, with the new one being only about 20 feet closer to the road. Check out the difference:

Your new setup sound MUCH better, in tone, in idle, in rev, and take off, absolutely better.
