so i just ordered my muffler(12229) and tip(35206) hopefully they get here by this weekend so I can go ahead and take it to the shop....as yall can see I decided to go with the 14" lol, hopefully its not too loud but it dosent matter now ha

So I came home from lunch today im BAMMM there it was lol My 14" maggie and tip...one of my coworkers told me that I should paint my alum. pipes with duplicolor engine enamel so they wont look crappy after awhile, It seems like a good idea since winter is coming up. what do yall think????

Painting the pipes and welds especially, is a good idea if your not consitantly pressure washing and polishing in winter.

sweet! ill do that first I come back from the shop....on more thing since I went with the 14", how will it compare to a flowmaster in sound level. 40 or 44????? Im afraid it will be louder than what I want it to be, too late now!! lol

Don't worry about the sound....... the 14" body sounds great!

I would say that the volume is comparable to an Original 44 and quieter than a Super 44 without the interior drone/resonance.

the 14" magnaflow is very comparable to the volume of the flowmaster 40

just smoother and deeper than the original 40 right???
