well guys right now ive got and 01 7700 series. the current exhaust is long tubes no cats and a 3" in Dual 2.5" out flow super 44. this muffler is good sounding with cats in but with out cats and the long tubes its a little too loud and almost tinny while excellerating. My question is would the maggie 14" be a little quiter and less tinny than the super 44? or would an 18" be a better muffler? thanks for your input and opinions.

 

put on high flow cats. and muffler choice is all up to.

 

thought about putting cats in but i dont have to have them as there is no emissions testing where i am at. No ill effects without them even after over a year. was mainly just wondering if the maggie would give a cleaner sound.

 

I just installed the 18" Magnaflow si/do split at the rear with SS 45* slashed........
It's exactly the sound I wanted!
NO DRONE.......and sounds great when I step on it!

 

Magnaflow 18", or Flowmaster 50 series if you like the sound, but I personally would just put hi-flows in it and keep it all as is.
