You got that bed bouncing all right, watched it a couple times just for that part. Any idea as to why it was leaner than your last run?

Not sure. Maybe it just flows a lot better now and needs more fuel.

It wasn't lean in a bad way. He said it just would have made more HP if we could have richened it up a bit.

I don't know much about it really.

I don't really think I could be maxing out my stock fuel system so I'm not sure why it would be leaner now. Maybe his gauges were just reading different.

Someone else on here probably has an idea.

I've always wondered how you say, and what the heck your screen name meant. I always said it in my head as maybe he's saying "If you're in.." really country sounding.. How do you pronounce it? "Ferring"? "Furing"? Just curious. Congrats getting them installed. Get that thing tuned!

yea this was the first Forum I joined so I just used my username that I log into my work stuff with.

It's Fe ur ing ....... It's of German ancestory and the first part is pronounced kind of like how you say Furor. As in - The Fuhrer, Adolf Hitler.

I'm not sure if your following my plans but I'm not getting it tuned till I get my supercharger installed.

that's not bad power at all considering the large tires (even geared the large tires rob power, ask wayne)

time for a pan hard bar and long bars

I'll search tomorrow to see what your talking about. I've had a rough week.

Oh and I'll also try to get some better exhaust vids.

I've video'd it and I'll post that up too.

Old Dyno without headers

New Dyno with headers
I was looking at this...you actually gained over 20rwhp/tq at lower rpms!

Look at 3000rpm for example...
Before headers: 140rwhp 240rwtq
After headers: 160rwhp 280rwtq!

4500RPM:
Before: 210rwhp 245rwtq
After: 220rwhp 250rwtq

Never look at peak numbers, look at the curve....

Yea your right FF.

i wished he would have had the scale set up the same on both runs so it would have been easier to compare.

I'll make sure it is set up the same when I go back with the supercharger.

Wish I would have been a member of this site earlier, then instead of paying more for gibson shorty headers, I could have had OBX long tubes. Oh well. Live and learn
