Smile Shorty Headers With High Flow Cat?

I have a 4.2L V6 cold air being the only aftermarket mod to my engine. I was tossing around the idea of going shorty headers with high flow cat, any input? yay or nay? looking for a few extra horses on an every day driver.

nay. sell the truck and get one with a v8. if thats not an option, go with longtubes and high flow cats. thatll give u an extra 20 hp. also, ur gonna need some exhaust. look into a flowmaster 44, they sound good on v6s.

You can get a set of LTs for a 3.8l stang that will fit, with just a touch of tweaking needed to line it up with the f150 exhaust.
