new exhaust tomorrow!

tomorrow my 2000 f150 5.4 goes in to get a exhaust done. i already have the two rear cats removed and im gettin true duals from my front two cats. 2 and a quarter inch pipe with glasspacks. if anybody has a idea how this will sound or has vids i'd love to see or hear! thanks!

With glasspacks, not too good atleast in my opinion, very raspy and crackly.

see im a younger guy. im only 17. and i like a truck that cracks more and is just pure loud. im not a big fan of the muffler tone. so maybe a glasspack is something i would like?

if thats wat ur into, do wat u want. but most of us here would never ruin our trucks with a asspack

i'd do some more research before installing that setup. corsa is a great exhaust, magnaflow sounds decent...

how would putting on glasspacks ruin the truck? i've looked at many many trucks with glasspacks on them and there wasn't anything wrong with them

look into the FlowMaster Super 44. If u want something loud, but not obnoxious like a glass pack, that's ur best bet.

ok thanks everyone! one more question. is there a lot of difference in sound between a 2/1/2 inch pipe and 3 inch pipe?

ok i might consider the bullet. but whats the difference with the pipe. besides the size haha. is the 3 inch deeper? will the 2/1/2 inch crack more?
