Man i really appreciate that. And i will run what i want but i just got a lot of crap for it but its ok. im glad someone on here understands what im tryin to say...and about the bullets...my buddy is a member on here who has a 97 dark blue F150. he has a lot of mods on his truck and he has an x pipe with 2 bullets. they sound good but i like the more nasty tone from straights better. I guess its just a texas thing maybe hell i dont know though

 

i dont know why everyone tries to say what you should get when you already have an idea of what you want. seriously why would someone drive a truck with magnaflow exhaust if he/she cant stand the sound? if he likes straights then let him get them, if he likes it then thats all that matters. he can always add a muffler later on if hes not satisfied.
and i understand that flowmaster isnt at all a performance muffler but IMO they sound better than magnaflow. hell on my truck you have to mess with the cats to even be able to hear a magnaflow(14" is barely louder than the stock muffler on my truck), where a flowmaster you can at least tell the things running. its all personal preference IMO.

 

People recommend Magnaflow because their products work well and suit their needs well, are also crafted well, which makes it a good product and excellent seller, very well worth suggesting to your friend Billy. Theres a large amount of satisfied customers here, so pardon them for suggesting a Magnaflow Industry part to a person asking for what they should look into. What were they thinking?????

And as the saying goes, opinions are like..... yeah, everyone has one, and as a public forum, the users that enjoy the benefits of this website forum for free speak their opinion, give their advice, try to aid in helping a confused person out when needed, so thats what their deal is.

Critical statements of questionable tones are also announced, but what can do you, cral through their computer and slap them in the face? no, its a forum and there will always be some joker out there who will post a comment or state something of their opinion in a proper mature manner, or a negative immature manner.

Others do suggest other brands too, so its not like Magnaflow is god here. There is just alot of happy customers, sorry if it irritates anyone that hates them, thats life, theres always competition, and people always have different opinions, preferences, and taste, and also verbal advice.

And this concludes my rant, looking forward to the next one to come in the next 6 months since there is one of these blow outs a couple times a year

 

i understand all that and i appreciate that people give there experiences and try to help, but this stuff is what mainly made me mad:
4.6punisher had something negative to say about everything this guy does like. this guy clearly said the choices of cherrybomb, flowmaster, or flowpro in his first post and that he did not like magnaflow. this guy knows what he likes and the way it was written i took it as 4.6punisher was making fun of this guy and trying to make him change his mind about the flowmasters. i dont know please correct me if i took it the wrong way but thats just how i saw it.

Smitty08 isn't wrong by any means as it is his opinion as Darren stated very well. I love my magnaflow, but I wouldn't recommend it if that is not someone's desire. You look for what you want and just ignore the ones that bother you, annoy you, what have you. That's usually all I do. Not everyone on here is a nice person and sometimes someone with an empty sack tries to pretend they have bowling ***** and jumps on a person. (No one did here, just saying). Smitty, if that is what you want, I hope you are happy and hope to hear a success story. Everyone has different tastes which is great. This site has opened my eyes to more mods than I had ever seen in person. Do I like them all, of course not, but it's like anything. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder andd someone is not wrong for their likes and dislikes. There are facts to back up certain products, but if someone does not want those features, then it's not for them. I don't like to see outbursts on these forums because this is supposed to be a place to help people. I think some people think their likes should be universal for everyone and what can you do about that? Not much just try to ignore them and do what makes you happy. I wish you the best in your exhaust endeavor and don't take what some say too seriously. Atleast we drive fords... well almost all of us

You can say all you want but the truth is that whether magnaflow is a good product or not isnt the question. People start posting into threads all the time like this one where the thread CLEARLY states he hates magnaflows and within 5 posts it becomes again magnaflow is great and everything else sucks.
So its not because its so good everyone likes it and wants to tell everyone, its more whether the thread is about it or not its turning into magnaflow is god, and I feel that anyone with a brain can read about magnaflow on here if they want it doesnt need to always turn into a pissing match when the original poster of the thread doesnt want to hear about magnaflow or they would ask.

This is why Youtube is mans best friend. If someone does not like a Magnaflow they should not have to order one, as for others throwing other name brands out there and dissing one product compared to its competition, well that will probably never stop because a persons freedom of speech will be used, maturely or not we do not know, so I guess just try to help a person out with what you can and ignore another persons crude comment. Usually when such mix ups happen I get PM's from people asking to know the differences between a few products and to give a plain simple and helpful suggestion as to what he should go with, i'm sure our other exhaust masters here have too.

Those all suck terribly.

 

i agree that i was just asking about takin cats out and runnin mufflers and it turned into a match about gettin magnaflow or not. but i know what im gonna do now so i really could care less. it just makes me mad when im askin one thing but get a totally different answer sayin i should change. i know so many people with every different kind of exhaust so i already know what sounds i like and dislike. like on my chevy it sounded really good and deep. but on a ford i would rather run mufflers with no cats. and about the performance thing and magnaflow bein the best. Where i live if you dont run flow master or straights then you aint got performance. there are guys with some extremely fast trucks and they have true duals flowmasters or true dual striaghts. but this is over and im gettin what i want. and thank you to the guys who actually saw my question and tried to help. and to others who didn help convince someone else im no idiot to exhaust but obviuosly to darren everyone is. lol

Couldn't tell you that, but my 0-60 is 6.8. There's no drag strips around here, and that's a pretty bold last statement you made there, faster yet weaker.

Straight pipes alone are terrible for performance, so you have contradicted yourself. You say you will have more power, but you won't.
