Opinions on GlassPack for a 4.2 V6

Yeah, man very happy. I like being loud. The guy that put mine in said " Man thats a good sounding 4.6, im going to get some glass packs for mine " He must not of heard it rev, idle sounds really good, but anything over 3000 RPMS does not sound good at all.

Yeah, the v6s have a good idle and then the higher ones get kinda yucky, but it is what it is. Glad you are happy.

I just sold my 05 4.2L and had true duals with flowtech glasspacks. Sounded real beastly but the drone was too loud on the highway. They also garggled a bit from the pressure doing higher speeds like over 70mph and letting off the gas. I got them hot one day and sprayed water in them too make it louder. Louder than any 4.6l with a non-glasspack install. Any 4.2l 05 and under with them doesn't sound as good.
