They're only a half inch bigger than the tips, lol. I thought it would be extremely rare for an F150 to sound like a Mustang seeing as almost everyone has that Flowmaster sound to it.

Anyhow, I got the tips in yesterday, and the Magnapacks will be in today. I'm away from the camera right now, so no pictures.

That's my little secret.

This video inspired me for this setup. I know it won't sound exactly like it because he had an X-pipe and long tube headers, but hopefully it will be comparable.

I remember that video, I played it dozens of times when I was researching my own exhaust build, love that sound, almost got the magnapacks but went with borla xr-1 thanks to this video....freakin loud....though the truck sounds no where near that..

Ok, I'm going to need some pictures of peoples true dual exhaust, especially the area where the Y-pipe was. I need to see how your shops bent your pipes and got everything to fit in perfectly. The guy who is going to be doing the work is questionable, and I want him to have some pictures to go on.

...and everything is still set for Friday!

migdaddy recently posted an excellent view of a true dual exhaust under some Nissan, i'm sure he'll post it here, if not then its in the true dual exhaust thread in the main section.

Well I need a picture of the cross over on my generation of F150 because of the heat shield.

I have photos in my 2008 album, but my X pipe isn't a true X, its just the pipes fabbed together.

Yeah I checked that, but I need a good shot that shows all the angles from either the side, directly below, or coming from the rear.

does this help? the second one is definately a custom X pipe, probably like darren's. i believe its off a chevy 1500. and the 3rd one is a true 3" X pipe. so pretty much right where the Y pipe connects the 2 pipes into 1, is where the X pipe should go, and then extend the piping from each end out to the mufflers, which im sure you already know. hope these pics help man

Finally finished! I had my doubts about this guy, but I saw that he had a police cruiser sitting in his shop awaiting new cats. He told me that he does all the work on all the police cars for several counties. I was also worried about the welds, but it turns out that his welds are perfect. The H pipe is a little further back than what I originally wanted, but I doubt it would make a big difference. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with everything, the quality and price were awesome.

And a poor quality video!

I'll get my hands on a better camera later today.

Sounds great! The tips are perfect! The bends, they look completely horrible!
