Interior sound exhaust and CAI AEM Brute

Hi all, I am new to the forums.

I had a new exhaust installed on my truck last year. The shop that did the job used a Super44 Si/Do with 2.5" tube and long tips coming straight out at the back. Compared to what it sounded like before its really amazing. Not too loud but deeper. The problem is that it only sounds really good outside. Inside the cab you don't really hear it, even when idling or cruising through the city at normal speed. Only when you hit the pedal hard you can hear it which ends in a droning tone at apx. 60-75 mph (I live in Germany where we are allowed to go as fast as we want on the highways).

What can I do to get a better sound inside the cab (I have a super cab)? The muffler is placed where the OEM muffler was before (under heat shield). I am planning to get a true dual with two super44 mufflers and X pipe, as a friend suggested. Does this increase sound level? I must keep all four cats because of the emission control each year.

And: I got an AEM brute intake which is to be installed after passing authorities check next month (we have to pass every 2 years). Does this take effect on the sound of the truck (inside)?

I don't want it too loud. But I want to hear my V8... A friend has a dodge 5.7 which has a real deep and nice sound inside AND outside...

Thank you for your help! And I am sorry if my english isn't at the best...

PS: Where can I get the X-peace for a 2.5" pipe (a shop that ships to Germany?)?

Yes, dump it before the axle is an option I saw on youtube... but I want to keep my tips if possible as they look great and dumping is not street legal...

IF it were me, I would get 2 hi-flows to replace the rear cats and then 45 the exhaust. With SOTB the sound is puched behind the truck. 45'd tips allow the sound to bounce off objects and you would here it probably a bit more as the exhuat would exit on either side.

Ok, should be possible with the tips I have to 45'em at the rear. Do true dual pipes affect the sound level or tone compared to what I have now with SIDO? I've read a lot about the Dyno bullets and now I can't decide weather to keep the 44's or if it will be deeper at low rpm with the dynos...

One more question: Which high flow cats should I buy for my truck? I need the right ones for replacement as I need'em shipped to Germany and can't return em without being charged a lot for s/h

SI/DO performs better on a stock truck, better low end, true duals sounds more agressivve, better high end power.
