$160 installed sounds pretty good.

The Dynomax Bullet would be a hell of alot louder than the 3 chamber 50 series muffler though.

Yes they do sound good. The 50 series has that nice note at a respectable volume and low interior noise.

Ok cool I think I am sold on the 50 series flowmaster. I got referred to this shop from a friend saying they are good priced. I may call a couple shops to compare.

Never hurts to call. 50 Series mufflers usually run $99.88 - $105.00, so $60 install sounds alright.

K cool. Should I have them shave some length off the end of my stock plain tip or add a nice tip?

If you are willing to invest in adding a tip to the tailpipe ofcoarse, a tip will help the sound more metallic like and echo further, and obviously look better.

Oh really? I had no idea that the tip makes any difference to the sound.

Anyone know of a good online shop to get a tip fairly priced?

Performance Peddler. I would suggest a 4"x12" tip

Nothing very bad, should be quieter than a Magnaflow 14" body inside, and those are pretty quiet. You'll hear it on acceleration ofcoarse, but cruise speeds and low rpm hill climbs it wont be bad.
