Highflow Cats

I am looking to delete my cats and use Magnaflow units on my 05 5.4L 4x4, will I need any tuning as far as my CEL? Anyone's help will be appreciated!

As long as the O2s are re-mounted after the hi-flow cats you will not get a CEL. Magnaflow 94306 or 94106 units will work fine. 94106 being near cat-less sounding.

Have you checked with your emissions center/exhaust shops to see if you can legally run hi-flow cats in your area? Most emissions counties wont allow cat modification unless the vehicle is 7yrs or 70,000 miles old.

I have the 94139 units, these are the three inch ones with the single O2 bungs in em, no tune and no cel, been running with them a few months now, as far as passing emissions we have them in our county and all they do as from what I have seen is hook up to the OBD port and jack up the back end and look for a muffler or something, no sniffers in the tail pipe as they use to do when I was growing up in St. Louis a few decades back, not sure if they still do that.
