That will work well and sound nice and mellow. No performance differences its just strictly for easier fitment, which under one of these trucks is no issue.

yea the borla 40474 has the offset mount and costs like 275 and the other borla muffler costs like 150 and has the inlet mounted at the center. whcih one do you guys think i should get. is there any reason to spend 175 on just the muffler or will the 150 one do the trick scince im not getting performance out of it really.

Could you post the links of both versions of the muffler you are talking about? This doesn't sound right.

I filtered it to 3" inlet and 2.5" outlet and found the two mufflers. There are differences between the 40474 muffler and the 40349 mufflers,

40474 specs.
Internal Construction: Straight-through baffled
Muffler Material: Stainless steel
Muffler Finish: Natural ( t-409 )
Case Length (in): 19.000 in.
Overall Length (in): 23.000 in.
Thickness (in): 5.500 in.
Width (in): 10.250 in

40349 specs.
Internal Construction: Straight-through baffled
Muffler Material: Stainless steel
Muffler Finish: Natural
Case Length (in): 19.000 in.
Overall Length (in): 24.000 in.
Thickness (in): 4.000 in.
Width (in): 9.500 in.

Now when you look at the specs you will always find the differences. The 40474 muffler is a little bulkier in thickness and width than the 40349, and the overall difference is 1", the bigger the stainless muffler the more it would cost.
