Late model trucks tend to run lean with cold air intakes. It is suggested that you only run an intake with a custom tune. Some states have laws regulating engine modifications. In CA, where I live, these aftermarket parts must have a CA Air Resources Board Executive Order Number. I have an Airaid on mine.

I hate when someone says, "do a search". If you don't want to help, then don't help.

How is the noise level with your Airaid intake?

S&B makes an excellent kit that requires oiling now and then, Volant makes ac dry filter kit. Both look professional and are enclosed for best air induction.

I didn't notice anything bad with my Airaid, it would drone when going up a mountain when the engine was under load and it dropped a gear but that didn't last long.

I switched mine out for a Volant though, my intake temps just got way to high around town with the open filter.

I don't think it's noisy at all. But then again, I can't hear anything with all the loud music playing.
