ah people keep asking the same questions haha...if money is tight just buy a muffler and tip of your choice online. if your doing a SI SO muffler run it 3" all the way through from the Y to the tips. thats the best performance and ull be runnin about 300 bucks max, instead of 600 minimum with a kit
Well the OEM Y pipe being a dual 2.5" in to single 2.5" out causes restriction. Some shops can chop the outlet of the Y pipe till its 3" and run the 3" pipe from there. Otherwise the Magnaflow Y pipe is a great piece. If your installer can run the 3" from the OEM Y, go for that to save $30. If not, then the Magnaflow Y pipe will be excellent.
Now for the maggie, which one would give the best tone...Im looking for a really DEEP tone...would it be the 14" or 18", 4X9 or 5X8?????

x2. Those are the loudest available, the 11" is deeper where as the 14" will crackle a little more. I'm runnng the 11"s. Very deep sounding and still aggressive.
