02' 4.6 Supercrew Advice

Hey guys,
I'm going to drop the coin and finally do something with my stock exhaust. I've read so much here my mind is spinning.

I'ld like to go with an after market muffler and was planning on dual pipe exit straight back with chrome tips.

Stopped at Midas. Told him i was interested in a Flowmaster muffler. He began trying to talk me into a Flowtech instead. Anyone have experience with those?
He was suggesting around $400-450 for muffler, run duals out back with chrome 18" magnaflow tips.

Stopped at Lentz. He quoted me $300 for a Y pipe and dual exit with tips. Then I realized he wasn't quoting with a muffler. With muffler it jumped up to $400-450.

What's your thoughts on
Quoted prices?
Flowtech?
Flowmaster... i want a good deep medium loud sound, which one to pick?

THanks for the feedback, hoping to get her done at 9am tomorrow.

Flowtech is a knock-off Flowmaster brand. They make similar mufflers. Theres alot of knock-off model Flowmasters out there, they're usually just cheaper but probably wont last as long. The prices sound right.

Well, went with the sido Super 44 w/ 18" Magnaflow SS Rolled tips. Sounds great at idle and better at acceleration. Mounted muffler as far back as possible on the Screw and very little inside droning.
At least the 4.6 can be heard now, the silence was driving me nutz!

Thanks for the help on here everyone.
