Yeah I just went to a exhaust shop today and he had the di/do muffler but he said the price for the set up would be around $530. I called another shop and he said he couldn't run true duals on my truck because of the gas tank. I've seen plenty of people with true duals on trucks like mine. So now I'm kinda lost. One says yes another says no. The second guy said $450 for the set up for a si/do. Now I have no idea what I'm going to do.

Yeah I called one of our family mechanic friends and he did say there actually isn't enough room to run true duals because of the crew cab and where the gas tank is. I thought it was possible but I guess living in Iowa I don't get the quality shops. So I guess its just a si/do muffler.

Darren you will probably know how much sound will I lose with a si/do instead of two mufflers. And Yes, I do believe he is a retard after talking to him on the phone. Lets just say he won't get my business.

Also what would be a good size of tip. Does a 4 inch look too big if I exit the exhaust with duals out the rear of the truck?

i dont see why they cant do it. if a shop says thay cant run true duals bc of a gas tank i would not let them touch my truck. its just how darren stated the pipes go around the tank, just like on mine too.
youre sound wont be as aggressive or loud with a si/do but itl sound good regardless. a 4'' tip will look fine as long as its not shorter than 18inches then itl look like a chode

Your not gonna lose much sound, only the rasp from WOT. Generally both SI/DO and true duals sound the same in volume.
