My truck doesn't annoy me alot but going up a hill it can be annoying. My exhaust drones because its true dualed, and i removed two cats. Flowmasters are louder inside than Magnaflows are so if inside peace is a factor you might not want to go that route.

By the way, Super 44s are the loudest 2 chamber muffler Flowmaster makes, so yes it is louder than the 40 series, and Super 40s.

Anything direct flowing/straight through. Avoid chambered mufflers for performance.

Which one gives the "tin can sound?" I didn't understand that haha. And I should go with magnaflow if I want more performance out of my mufflers?

I'm just joking around, picking on Flowmaster lol. Yes, Magnaflows are direct flowing which is healthier for performance, chambered mufflers are baffled and the flow path is guided and divided so many damn times its about as bad as OEM, just sounds loud.

All Flowmasters sound the same, some are just louder than others.

You want performance, you want Magnaflow.
You want sound, you want Flowmaster. As simple as that.

To second my last question, if I cut off the cats will the oxygen sensor take part in that? I don't wanna mess up my computer. Also, will cutting off the cats give me worse gas milage?

1. Shouldn't mess it up but it can
2. I doubt it. Mileage, usually isn't affected much, and if it IS, it won't be very much at all.

I can't say for sure, but I'm almost positive he had no issues.

The rear cats in 04 - 05 models do not monitor the rear cats, you'll be fine. Heres a picture of how it will look without the rears, the sensor you see is the rear O2 sensors, all they monitor is the front converters in 04 - 05s.

With no cats at all, your gas mileage will drop but you will have more power.
